Granbury Theatre Company Presents: 1776!

On June 22, 2012, the new live theatre production company of North Texas called Granbury Theatre Company invites you to experience the award-winning musical, “1776”, at the newly renovated Hood County Courthouse of Granbury Texas!

1776 is a musical that is based on the events surrounding the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  It focuses on, and moderately exaggerates, the efforts of John Adams to persuade his colleagues to vote for American independence and to sign the document.  It was nominated for five Tony Awards and won three, including the Tony Award for Best Musical!  The Courthouse is only a short walk from the Inn on Lake Granbury, a North Texas bed and breakfast.  You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to see this fantastic musical in Granbury’s beautifully remodeled Courthouse!
