Weekend Events in Granbury, Texas
For those guests staying with us at the Inn on Lake Granbury, a Texas Bed and Breakfast, (and for those just visiting town), you may be interested in enjoying some of these fun things to do occurring around the downtown square or close by in Granbury for the weekend of September 17 – 19, 2010.
The famous speech of Patrick Henry, the most celebrated orator of the American Revolution, will be performed by Dr. Gary Sisson. This Constitution Day Commemoration will take place at the Granbury Square Plaza starting at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010.
Hood County Night at The Oscars sounds like fun event with food, music, and dancing. Music is featured from Oscar award winning movies. This is a benefit for the Hood County United Way, and tickets are only $100 per ticket. Space is limited so call ahead to reserve at 817-579-5100. Event starts at 6:30 p.m on Friday, September 17th.
The Granbury Live performance is All American Country Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Saturday’s show is Good Vibrations at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. You can get more information on shows and tickets on their website: www.granburylive.com
The Farmers Market at the Granbury Square Plaza will be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Langdon Center will host a Fall Garden Market on Saturday also starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. This market is sponsored by the Hood County Master Gardeners at Tarleton’s Langdon Center.
