Grand Re-Opening of Granbury Opera House!

After an extensive interior renovation, the 1886 Granbury Opera House is back in operation!  The Opera House, the crown jewel of the downtown square, now has state of the art acoustics, an expanded stage, rehearsal space, and concession areas for patrons to enjoy.  The theatre has maintained its intimate setting for live plays and musicals with 309 seats. Plus it is only a short walk from our Granbury bed and breakfast!

Providing quality live theater entertainment, the Granbury Opera House debuts “A Christmas Carol” just in time for the holiday season.  This classic holiday show opened December 12 and runs daily through December 23 with evening shows Monday-Saturday at 7:30, Saturday matinees at 3:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.  The theatre also has a wonderful lineup of shows in 2014, starting in January with “Noises Off”, the British comedy, followed by “Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”, and then the widely popular “A Streetcar Named Desire”, to name a few.
