Granbury Wine Walk
This year will mark the 4th Annual Granbury Wine Walk in the beautiful town of Granbury, Texas. Located right in the heart of downtown Granbury, the Wine Walk features Texas wine, food, music, and art. The 2013 edition of the Granbury Wine Walk is a 2-day event that showcases 16 different Texas wineries from all over the Lone Star State. Stroll through the downtown to outdoor booths for wine tasting and Texas cuisine, enjoy live music, including some of Granbury’s own unique talent, and preview artists showcased by the Lake Granbury Art Association.
On Thursday evening, April 25th, the “VIP Sip & Savor” culinary and wine event will be held on a private estate that overlooks Lake Granbury. At this event, guests will enjoy a taste of Texas with succulent selections from Dallas-Fort Worth’s favorite celebrity chefs including: Tiffany Derry, a “Top Chef” Season 7 favorite, Lou Lambert, “Big Ranch, Big City” cookbook author and owner of Lambert’s Steak and Seafood in Fort Worth, Eric Hunter, owner of Fire Oak Grill in Weatherford, Chris Garcia, owner of Del Norte Tacos in Godley, Kevin Martinez, chef of Tokyo Café in Fort Worth, and Molly McCook, chef of Ellerbe Fine Foods in Fort Worth.
The chefs will be accompanied by participating wineries from the Wine Walk. Here, you can meet and learn about the chefs, savor the special entrees that are offered, and enjoy their distinct flavors and style of cooking. At the end of the evening, the coveted People’s Choice award for favorite chef and wine will be revealed. Proceeds will go to Mission Granbury and Preserve Granbury – the official beneficiaries of the 2013 Granbury Wine Walk.
The Granbury Wine Walk will be on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Two-day tickets to the Wine Walk are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Included with the purchase of a ticket is a keepsake wine glass, wine tastings, and food.
