Hood County Texas Hosts the 29th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes!
‘Tis the season for hot chocolate, coats & scarves, and the 29th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes in Granbury, Texas! Every year, when the cooler weather sets in, the historical homes of Hood County Texas turn on their Christmas lights and open their doors for you to experience the magic and charm of these beautiful homes.
It is a weekend-long holiday event that you and your loved ones should experience and will most definitely never forget. This delightful occasion will begin on Friday, November 30th with a Christmas concert by First Presbyterian Church, featuring the Melody Belles female chorus! Festivities will continue through Sunday evening. There will be music every hour, highlighting your favorite Christmas carols and winter songs by various musicians.
At the Nutt House Hotel, local celebrities will be hosting A Children’s Christmas Story Time: Stories for the Young at Heart, a wonderful opportunity to share with your child and keep cozy from the cool weather! The tour will also have choirs and musical events held in the newly remodeled Granbury Courthouse and Granbury Live Theatre. Some of the other special highlights of the tour are the spectacular displays of over 700 individual Nativity scenes and the new Granbury Doll House on Bridge Street.
Our Granbury Texas Bed and Breakfast is just south of the Granbury Square and within walking distance to most of the historical homes that will be featured in this year’s Candlelight Tour of Homes. Tickets are available at the Nutt House Hotel or you may call and make reservations at 817-573-5299.
