Statewide Travel and Food Writers Applaud the Inn and Granbury!

Hello!  Here at the Inn, we are not only enjoying our best year ever, thanks to our wonderful guests, we are also enjoying all the articles and press coverage the Inn is receiving.  We are basking in the glow of some wonderful summertime articles written in Texan-driven publications!  Our Event Chef, Stacy Counts, creates a refreshing, delicious dessert in our kitchen here at the Inn and her creation, a Lemon-Raspberry Sundae, was featured on page 100 of the glossy print and online-360 West Magazine.  A feature photo by Ralph Lauer and a great article by travel and food critic June Naylor can be found in this DFW-based magazine which focuses on all things wonderful in the area.  Thanks, 360 West Magazine!  We are honored!

H Texas magazine, self-tagged “Houston’s Premiere Lifestyle Magazine” included the Inn in their summer 2013 publication with an article entitled “A Needle In A Haystack:  Granbury, Texas” where their writer, Rick McMillen, graciously describes his stay at our Inn while writing about Granbury for the magazine.  Rick mentions that our Inn is a “slice of paradise” with an “overall feel” of “small town charm” but he also was of the opinion that our inn and its amenities “felt like the Waldorf in NYC.”  Thank you, Rick and H Magazine, and come back any time!

We are proud to be mentioned in the Sunday, July 28^th issue of the Austin American-Statesman, as well!  The article by Beverly Burmeier, a special to the Austin American-Statesman, states that after the tornado in May, Granbury is still the “Jewel of the Brazos” and informs readers “Walkable attractions, historic events draw tourists year-round.”  Beverly spells out Granbury’s ongoing events and activities and mentions our Inn, describing us as “an elegant 15-room lakeside property within walking distance of the historic district.” They provided readers with the link to our Granbury, Texas bed and breakfast.
